The Town of Wareham, Massachusetts recognized the need to launch a rebranding campaign to redefine its image with the support of the Belfort Group (BG). The goal was to shift perceptions from Wareham being seen as a mere pass-through on the way to Cape Cod to becoming a sought-after destination for families, businesses, and tourists.
The Strategy
BG conducted extensive discovery sessions with local stakeholders and residents to understand Wareham’s unique strengths and attributes. From these insights, BG developed a comprehensive rebranding campaign. This included creating a new logo, crafting a compelling tagline, and launching a dedicated campaign website. The campaign strategically highlighted Wareham’s appeal as a desirable residential community, a thriving business environment, and an inviting tourist destination.
The Results
With the campaign collateral in place, BG executed a targeted media relations initiative and leveraged influencers on social media platforms. The outcomes were significant: the campaign secured 21 media placements, drove 2,539 social media engagements, and achieved an impressive 95,098 impressions.
