The Opportunity
IBEW Local 103, a Boston-based electrical workers union, engaged the BG creative team to develop quarterly printed newsletters for its membership. This opportunity presented a chance for BG to showcase their skills in marketing and design, creating a series of printed newsletters to serve as a valuable source of information for the union members. A key aspect of this project was to craft a visually appealing and content-rich publication. This publication effectively conveyed updates, insights, and local project information to the diverse membership base.
The Strategy
BG Creative implemented a strategy blending visuals with informative content to meet IBEW Local 103’s objectives. Each newsletter, spanning 20-30 pages, featured custom cover designs, data infographics, article graphics, and a custom map highlighting local projects in Massachusetts. The combination of aesthetics and information ensured that the publication looked impressive. It also served as a valuable resource for union members.
